30 Weeks!

Today I'm 30.5 weeks pregnant! Which means I have less than 10 weeks left!...hopefully...Thats a picture of my belly that keeps getting bigger and bigger everyday! I'm still feeling pretty good, and still loving my sleep! I'm on the countdown for work, I have 5 sets left, which means 20 shifts and I'm starting to get pretty excited about that.

We finally got our crib brought up from Edmonton and put it together. Here it is!

I love it! It looks a lot lighter in this picture than it is I think from the flash. But it is a very sturdy crib and I love how it looks. The nursery is nowhere near being decorated or anything but we are waiting until the baby is born to get too into it because we don't know if it is a boy or girl. Once we do then we will get bedding and curtains and wall decals, all that fun stuff.

Last weekend we had two full days of prenatal classes to get us all prepared for this baby. It was pretty good and I think it was nice to help us feel a bit more confident on the whole labour thing. We can't wait until this baby arrives and I am starting to get really antsy to find out if it is a boy or girl!

YOGA!

Today was my first session of prenatal yoga! I really enjoyed it! It was nice to get out and meet some other pregnant women and to get all stretched out and relaxed. I am really looking forward to every Wednesday night for the next 6 weeks!

Board Games

Cody and I like to play board games when we have some time off together. One of our favourites is called Battleship Live and looks like this:

It is like the original battleship but so much more fun to play! The tower in the middle is electronic and talks you through the game. It always knows where your pieces are and if you try to cheat it stops the game and tells you to put your piece back where it was. There is a spy plane and hidden missiles. It is a lot of fun!

Last night we bought a new favourite. I have been wanting to try this game since I first saw the ad for it. It is the Game of Life Zapped edition. It looks like this:

This game is like the classic Life game but modernized. It is played with your iPad and a game board with pieces and paper money. The iPad has the spinner on it and all your career and other life choices on it, as well as mini games to play to win more money. It also incorporates clips from America's Funniest Home Videos as part of the game that correspond to the part of life you are at on the board. At the end of the game the app helps you count up your money and takes a family picture of your peg family. We had a ton of fun playing it! It's easy to follow and I like that I get to use my iPad with it.

Next up, Monopoly Zapped edition...we youtubed this last night to see what it is and it looks like a lot of fun too. I'll definitely have to pick it up when we find it!
